When we moved back to South Texas after being away for 6 years, my first thought upon seeing who was in charge of what up San Antonio way was "Are they insane? Who puts Crazy Person in charge of anything of note?" Then I told myself to stop being a cynical doofus. People, even Crazy People, can grow and change. Apparently my cynicism wasn't misplaced.
I see South Texas Pagan business as usual is still its same old self! And I'm very sorry for that. I had hoped that the community had grown up and stopped it with the clannish and self-defeating behaviors.
:(
P.S. The pagan community in Utah? Pretty much the same show, only difference being different faces in the starring roles. It makes me wonder what's wrong with us.
